The son of Charles and Minnie, in 1921 he is with his widowed mother and siblings at a farm in Lamyatt, Evercreech, Somerset. He married Miss Olive Parsons in 1943.
His obituary states; "He started farming on his own account 22 years ago having previously served in the Yeomanry. He was well known at Yeovil, Winford and Farrington markets and formerly at Shepton Mallet market where he had served on the stock show committee. He was a member of the Shepton Mallet N.F.U and served on the executive and the show council of the Mid-Somerset Agricultural Show. He was Chief steward of the pony section. Mr Baker married the former Miss Olive Parsons at Shepton Mallet Parish Church. The couple would have celebrated their silver wedding next month."

Farmer
Auxilier Robert Frances was the mechanic on Albert Baker's farm.
Albert had a shotgun in a case, and in the case was his Auxiliary Units lapel badge. The shotgun and case have been sold in the past.
