Donington is a large village in the South Holland district of Lincolnshire. It is situated 8 miles north from the market town of Spalding.

The OB was on the side of the Forty Foot Bank which is the built up river bank on the outskirts of Donington, very much like a Canal.
At the point where it goes under the now A52 Main road there is a Pillbox that is behind the Sloop Pub which is now a local club house for bikers.
Donington Patrol
The local train loop line is branched off from the main line from Kings Cross and it ran from Peterborough up to Lincoln running through Gosberton and Donington.
