The OB collapsed around 1956 and the area is now fenced off. All that remains is a sunken feature in ground where OB was.
The patrol was based on Bahill, Huntly. This overlooks Huntly on high ground to south east. It is 3.5 miles from Forgue Patrol OB, 3.5 miles to Bin Hill OB, 5 miles from Bogmoon OB and 5 miles from Gartly OB.
Local targets would have been the road and rail networks, around the Huntly area.
Training was conducted at Blairmore House, Huntly.
Norman Davidson (Forestry Worker) recalls two other structures in the wood, however is unable to locate them today.
