Operational Base (OB)
There is a woodland in Hellesdon that would have been perfect for an OB that the Canadians started using for training in 1942 so it is suspect the patrol was removed due to location or being discovered by the Canadians.

It appears Hellesdon Patrol was disbanded before stand down as it is not recorded on the list of Officers complied by Major Hancock. Where known many of the members returned to the local Home Guard on 31 Jan 1944.
