Location

Stornoway (Steornabhagh) 2 Patrol

Patrol Targets

Target would likely have been the RAF Airfield on the island. Also the harbour facilities.

On an invasion, if the island was captured, the port and airfield could have been used for resupplies whilst other islands are also attacked and captured.

Training

Visiting Scout sections from Seaforths and Lovat Scouts conducted a ‘round robin’ type of training package for Patrols on the Outer Hebrides.
