Biography
in 1924 he was appointed gamekeeper at Barvas on the west coast of Lewis. 10 years later he became Head gamekeeper for the Castle Grounds.
He married Mary Ann Matheson in 1934. They had two sons, Duncan and Iain and a daughter Peggy.
