Station description
Arthur Gabbitas recalled the outstation at Barton-upon-Humber because visiting it allowed the men to stop on the way back to Lincoln at Brigg, where they could eat at the British Restaurant, an off ration meal.
It seems likely that the site was around Elsham Wolds, rather than all the way into Barton-upon-Humber.
