Hubert talked to authors Viv Acton and Derek Carter in 1993 for their book Operation Cornwall 1940-1944. He was pictured in the OB at the time.
He was a single man of 18 when he was recruited (born 1922) and was living at home. His parents knew he was involved in something but didn't ask, just let him get on with it.
