Station description
The location has been estimated from the Jones Map.
In 2023 a set of papers belonging to ES Sadler were lodged at the Imperial War Museum. They uniquely included a series of sheets listing the Districts, each with their Key Man and associated Observers. Only one page included an identified Runner. It is not known whether the area covered by these papers represented a Special Duties Group, or part of a Group. One letter among the papers was signed G.F.G. Asst G.L. (Assistant Group Leader). This may support the lists covering a whole Group or a large part of a Group. Their value is in showing how many people were recruited to feed information to a single wireless.
