Other information
Halswell Estate area later became a large POW Camp, and a lot of the German internees stayed in the area after the War. Bill Geen employed one of these until his retirement. He was born and died at Bush Farm. In Sept 1944 he was entitled to wear 4 service chevrons.
Bill was a quiet man but was one for the local ladies !!
