Biography
He was the fifth son of six of Donald MacLean and Marion MacCuish of 21 Grenitote. HIs sister was Kate MacLean, wife of Lachlan MacDonald, another Patrol member.
For many years after the war he drove the MacBraynes bus, described as the most polite and most obliging driver. he was known to some as "Singles Only" for the frequent announcement on boarding that it was "singles only today".
He lived with his brother Angus at 21 Grenitote until his death in 198. He moved after this to the Council Houses at Mishigarry. His obituary described him as a most intelligent man blessed with a rare knack of relating local stories or news.
