Biography

The son of James and Harriet, he married Sybil Boyson in May 1916 in Vizianagram, Madras, India. 

Reynolds joined the Royal Yeomanry 16 Jan 1990 where he is recorded as 5 foot 11 inches tall with brown hair and eyes and a dark complexion. He served in South Africa and was discharged after 18 months. 29 Jan 1915 he was admitted to the Indian Army Reserve of Officers as a Second Lieutenant. He served in the Campaign in Mesopotamia, Battle of Ctesiphon and the Siege of Kut. He was involved in the Battle and subsequently was a prisoner of the Turks at the Seige of Kut.

In 1939 he is recorded as a Retired Lieutenant - Indian Army Reserve of Officers.
