Alfred Barritt

Alfred was born in Cromer moving to North Waltham with his parents as a child. Leaving school, he went to work for E J Riches & Son, chartered accountants of Norwich. He remained with them for 50 years. He was a bachelor, devoting his time to a variety of voluntary organisations. These included being Secretary of North Walsh Cricket Club, an office holder in Trafalgar Lodge of the Ancient Order of Druids and Chairman of the North Walsham Ex-Servicemen’s club until lack of members forced its closure in 1956.
