Captain David Wemyss

While in South Wales he was billeted at 27 Steel Avenue in Carmarthen with Wally Pole, a local telephone operator, and his wife. He fondly recalled the excellent cooking.

After nine months with Auxiliary Units he was posted to 55 Divisional Signals and shortly after to 5 Wireless Group which became part of R Force and was responsible for wireless deception with false networks.

He married Lady Jean Christian Bruce 21 Jul 1945. Titled Wemyss of that Ilk as Chief of the Clan.
