The sons of Fred and Mabel he was known as Eddie and was the youngest brother of Auxiliers Harold and Leonard Pike. He married Hazel Strong in 1943. Bovey Barton was the family home.
Eddie was a keen banjo player.
All the Auxiliers of Bovey Patrol worked on the Bovey Estate.
