He died in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. He didn't have any children and after his marriage broke down he moved to Canada. He lived at the family farm Bincombe Farm where the OB was. When he moved he offered the farm to Jack Prowse but as Jack only had a daughter to pass it on to he declined. The daughter would have loved to have ran a farm !
In Sept 1944 he was entitled to wear 4 service chevrons.
