Biography
Lieutenant Fletcher was likely posted to Auxiliary Units directly after being commissioned. He was in South Wales in 1943, with an office in an empty shop. Bert Davis, one of the small team recalled he was known to the men as “Joe”, and normally operated in civilian clothes. He moved to cover the Southwest Area for the last couple of months of the year. From February 1944 he was in East Anglia.
