James resided at Dykenuek at the time of his marriage to Agnes Anderson at Brucewell, Cookney in 1935. After the marriage they continued to stay at Dykenuek Farm.
He was no relation to Patrol Sergeant James Willox.
James passed away age 89 in November 1990 at Artuthie Hospital. His address was listed as Dunnottar Avenue Stonehaven.
