John Lobban

Married to Isabella Garden Murray in 1933, listed as staying in Pitmedden Village Udny.

Eoin Lobban, as a child recalls his mother talking about his father, John, going to see his “friends” in the woods. He recalls he was told not to go into the loft, and believed his father was something to do with the Home Guard.

Eoin recalls the names of the Patrol members and where they stayed. He does not recall the names of Privates Rose or Silver, which are generally unusual names for this part of the world.

John died 1995 aged 84.
