Other information
Though he never talked about his wartime role, there are a few family stories about him being mobilised to the Isle of White when an invasion was expected. His son also remembers him burnishing his cap badge in the fire to stop it shining. His Grandson can remember, as a child, fuses still at the farm, left over from their stores.
