Biography

In January 1962, he received an inscribed gold wrist watch for completing 25 years service with the Meadow Dairy Company. Given the dates of his Army service 1940 to 1946, he must have worked for them before the war as well. 

The son of Charles Watt and Mary Whitelaw.

Enlisted in the Royal Scots and later was a  Scout Section member.

He served with the SAS from 1944.

He served in France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Norway.

He left the Army in June 1946.
