Born to Thomas and Ethel Pearson of Park House, Appledore he married Patricia Smith 7 Jan 1936.
Mr Pearson owned Milsted Engineers in Tenterden, specialising in agricultural machinery. He had a pass which allowed him to go down to the coast. He was in the Auxiliary Fire Service with Ted Jenner. He received the Special Constables Medal.
