Leslie Legg told his “Home Guard” story to a couple of schoolgirls for their local history projects at Chickerell School. It was the first time he had mentioned anything about his involvement with Auxiliary Units. His wife was listening in, and this was the first time she learnt of her husbands Aux activities !
