Biography
Norman was the youngest son of Mr and Mrs W Hepburn of Blackburn, Orbliston. He married Elizabeth Young Bowman from Orbliston on 30 Apr 1936. Their son was born on 3 Feb 1941, but sadly died just 16 days later. Their daughter was born on 4 Apr 1944. They also had a second son.
He worked for the Forestry Commission at their Altonside nursery and after the war moved to Hallyburton Forest, Pitcur near Coupar Angus to become Head Forester by 1950.
