Otto Fritz Harvey was an excellent shot. He was in Gallipoli in 1915 with the father of Dick Body (Snargate Patrol). He served as Sergeant then Acting Company Quarter Master Sergeant 270024 in The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) and saw active service on the British Expeditionary Force being awarded the 1914-15 Star, the War and the Victory Medals and later the Territorial Efficiency Medal. He was also Mentioned in Dispatches 16 March 1919. Initially he enlisted 28 Feb 1910 and was recorded as being 5 foot 8 inches tall.
