Transferred to 5th Somerset Home Guard 10th May 1943. He later joined the Navy to work as a wireman on Landing Craft Tanks and served in Europe.
In 1939 his father was a Civil Servant lodging at 267 Newbridge Road, Bath.
At the time of a reunion in January 1950 he is living at 27A Fulwood Gardens, Twickenham, Middlesex. In 1994 he is living in East Grinstead.
