Biography
Born in Queensland, Australia to Marmaduke and Alice Ramsey, the family were living in Dane Court, Eastry, Tilmanstone, Deal, Kent in 1911. Robert arrived in Scotland the 1920s to take up his inheritance of Kinblethmont.
He married Constance German in Chelsea 24 Feb 1937.
Passenger lists record him as being 6 foot 4 inches with brown hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.
