Lieutenant Thomas Henry "Tom" Down

Biography
He married Joan Rickards in 1929.
In 1921 he was a pupil farmer at Torweston Farm, Sampford Brett for Farmer Fred White. Also at the farm was Fred's son Edward "Mort" White who later became an Auxilier with the OB at his then home Nerrols Farm, Taunton.
There are rumours that a cache of weapons were later found in Doniford Farm house. There is also a story of experiments with explosives carried out on the sheep wash enlarging it massively and demolishing a nearby wall.
