Other information

In Oxfordshire in 1939 where he was working as a sanitary inspector for Henley-on-Thames Rural District Council. The family home was in Romsey where he played football and cricket for the local teams and was actively involved with the Ashley (Romsey) Lawn Tennis Club. He appears to have been known as both Wallace Webb and Wallace Dyson.

He joined HM Forces 15 April 1943, returned 25 June 1943, re-joined HM Forces 16 June 1944.
