Other information

George Raymond donated his battledress blouse and side cap to Beaminster Museum in 2001. This is one of only two locations where a genuine Auxiliary Units uniform can be seen on display (the other is at Parham Museum in Suffolk).

In a taped interview George mentions that Whitchurch Canonicorum was the local Auxiliary Units HQ, and that the Beaminster, Morcombelake and Symondsbury Patrols used to meet at Whitchurch for lectures, and even had a written-paper exam.

He also mentioned that the Patrol exercised north of the Beaminster Tunnel.
