24th May 1934 – William Alexander’s father, William, dies at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The article mentions that he is survived by one son, William, who is farming in New Zealand, and also a well-known athlete (which Son William Alexander also was). The funeral is at the Family burial ground at Michael Churchyard, Gordonstoun.
