Biography
William Westmore and George Hayward were next door neighbours. The son of Harry and Mary Westmore he married Mildred James in 1930.
Stan Williams described Bill Westmore as knowing all the footpaths in the area since childhood and also being able to predict what the weather would do (which was very helpful as there were no weather forecasts broadcast in case it helped the enemy).
