The son of William and Mary, Bill married Honora (Nora) Turner in 1934. William and Nora lived in Chamberlain Road in the first few years of their marriage. Bill was a motor cycle enthusiast and didn't have any where to keep his bike so they swapped houses with some-one in 41 Addison Road.
