Biography
William was born on the 16th of April 1888 to Farmer's son James Main, and his wife Margaret (Geddes)
William was married to Christina Grant in Huntly, 1914. They had one daughter aged 5 in the 1921 Census, and resided at West Lodge, Dunlugas, Alvah, where he is listed as a Gamekeeper.
William was a Gamekeeper at Marnoch Lodge on the 1935 Valuation Roll, but not in the 1940 one. Although newspaper articles mention his wife and daughter there in 1941.
William Passed away at Chalmers Hospital in Banff, on the 1st of April 1965 Age 76.
