  Biography
              Known as Bill, Stephenson was the local chemist. His shop was just three doors down from the Probert’s butcher shop on Ringwood Road. The butcher's was alongside Woolworth’s and had a pillbox outside.
The local Ringwood Rotary Club contained a number of former Auxiliers post-war. Ray Withall, Ted Geary and Ted Harvey (Special Duties Operator also from St Leonards Hotel) were all to become Presidents, as was Bill Stephenson from Ringwood “A” Patrol.
