              Records show Albert was transferred to the 12th (Corsham) Wiltshire Battalion Home Guard on 12th November 1943. This is assumed due to a change in employment. By 1949 he is back in Dawlish at 30 St Mary's Cottages.
He worked at Willy's Foundry in Exeter in the gas department. The son of Albert and Grace Trapnell, he married Mary B Monk in 1941.
