Biography
Senior Commander Beatrice Temple's diary includes mention of Pte Beard (or possibly Pte Pearce - handwriting is unclear) on 19 May 1942 during a visit to Blandford. It is likely that Pte Beard was the batwoman for the ATS officers there.
