Born June Isabelle Cavendish she married Harold Edwin Pearce in 1941. Postwar became Catherine June Isabelle Cavendish and in 1949 she travelled to Lagos in Nigera as Miss Catherine June Isabelle Cavendish working as a confidential secretary. She was living in Cobham, Surrey at the time.
