Ivor Styles

Only recorded on the nominal roll dated 1 Dec 1942 as joining 10 Dec 1942 but left before stand down.

Ivor Styles was the gamekeeper appointed by David Evans-Bevans (the coal baron who bought what was left of the Margam Estate in 1941 from the Estate Trustees after the Fletcher family moved away). Ivor was still associated with the Estate/Margam Park well into the 1970s as he ran a pheasant farm on the edge of the estate not very far from the location of the OB.
