Biography

In 1941 John married Dorothy Eileen Peacock who was subsequently an ATS Operator. In the 1939 Register the couple were living together and she was recorded with his surname. 

He was the nephew of Adrian Monck-Mason who was a Special Duties Civilian Operator.

Career

In early 1943 he was in Kent and Sussex as Area Signals Officer.
By March he was in the Southwest undertaking the same role. He appears to have left Auxiliary Units by late 1943.
Promoted War Substantive Captain. Further service not currently known.
3 Dec 1946 Relinquished Commission and granted honorary rank of Major.
