Beatrice Temple visits her at Taunton 18 March 1943 and reports; "All 3 at hut. With Hazel to tea with the Grahams [the Rector of Cheddon Fitzpaine Church and family of ATS Gertrude Graham] so did Captain Coxwell-Rogers – Colonel to dinner. April 14 1943 Taunton – visited both places of duty with Hazel "

In her diary, dated 7 Aug 1943, Beatrice Temple reports; "Very annoyed by two moaning letters from Hazel and Peggy about their new move". She next appears in the new Salisbury Station 22 Nov 1943.
